Low Grade Fever

·         Daily evening fevers for several days

·         Does not exceed 100.4 at any time

·         Usually does not indicate disease

·         BUT common with TB

A  type of low grade fever ranging from 99 to 101 that is intermittent, sporadic (maybe once a week for example) can be a hidden sign of autoimmune disease, especially when coupled with swelling of lymphatic nodes in the neck)

other causes:

o   Over dressing

o   Exercise

o   Hot weather

o   Warm foods

o   Recent immunization

§  DTP Vaccine within 24 hours

§  MMB vaccine within 7-10 days
