Fringe Tree Bark, Prep & Dose

Preparation & Dose:

Use the tincture and decoction. Always use the completely dry bark. Washes and compresses are used for topical application.

May be combined with barberry, dioscorea, or euonymous for treating liver diseases.

Standard Decoction 5-10 g ; 2-4 ounces 3 times daily

Tincture Dried root (1:5, 65% alcohol); 10 drops to 2 ml (0.4 tsp) 3 times daily
