Lyme Protocols

Lyme is unique in that it takes your immune system off the grid. Many doctors don’t even perceive this as an infection anymore but a failure of the immune system. Borrelia burgdorfi is the largest single bacteria ever recorded. It has 26 chromosomes. It devotes them all to defeating immune surveillance. Then along comes Mycoplasmaincognita, also known now as Mycoplasma fermentans, when it got into the tick it brought its own unique ability to avoid detection. Before this mycoplasma got involved, Lyme was easy to treat in 1980. But the disease we’re working with today is different. It's not exactly an infection but rather, a barrier due to the biofilm they produce. The biofilm is like a scum they’ll back up against an inert surface like a bone or tooth margin or an ear piercing or an implant of a valve, ect. They make a layer of collagen and other protein based material and then they’ll hide behind it. They deprive themselves of the luxuriant metabolism other bacteria have because they’ve walled themselves off and they’ll slow down, but the antibiotics, and T-cells can’t get to them. So the entire game becomes how you get the immune system to see the pathogens and defeat the biofilm. This is a unique situation that we’ve only run into previously with TB, and anaerobic infections involving dead tissues.
