Gonococcemia

<p>Gonococcemia is defined as the presence of&nbsp;<em>N gonorrhoeae</em> in the bloodstream, which can lead to the development of disseminated gonococcal infection (DGI). Gonococcemia occurs in about 0.5-3% of patients with gonorrhea.</p>
