Volunteer Hours Certification
We can provide documentation for your volunteer service hours.
IMPORTANT: Fee Change Effective March 1, 2026
Starting March 1, 2026, a $29 annual fee will apply for all hours verification requests to help us sustain the program as verification requests have grown significantly. If the fee would create financial hardship, fee reduction requests are available – we want to support all our volunteers.
❗️ All requests submitted before March 1 will be processed at no cost.

How to Request Verification
When you need verification, submit a service hours request form. Please allow 7 business days for processing.
You can choose:
- Our standard ENGin hours confirmation form (see sample)
- Upload your own form for us to sign
- Have your school/employer send their form directly to us at info@enginprogram.org

Requirements for Hours to Be Verified
1️⃣ All sessions must meet these requirements:
- Scheduled in your ENGin account at app.enginprogram.org
- Duration recorded on the platform (automatically recorded or manually confirmed by student or volunteer).
2️⃣ You must be up to date on progress tracking for your student(s). For more information on completing evaluations for your student(s), read this guide on Progress Tracking.
*Please keep in mind that we cannot certify preparation time. *
Important Policies:
👉🏼If you violate program rules and are asked to leave because of non-compliance — such as frequently canceling meetings without offering to reschedule, or becoming unresponsive — we will only certify the sessions that are properly recorded in accordance with our certification policy at the time of the session. At the same time, certification will only be granted if you have fulfilled the minimum commitment of at least 3 months (10-12 hour-long sessions).
👉🏼If you are removed from the program due to serious violations, such as harassment, abuse, discrimination, or other severe offenses, no hours will be certified.
