As an ENGin volunteer, you develop crucial skills while making an impact on your learner’s life. Volunteers who have completed 25 hours with us are now eligible to apply for ENGin’s new Global Conversation Mentor badge. This digital badge is a verifiable credential that highlights the skills you’ve acquired through your conversation sessions. It can be automatically added to your LinkedIn profile, shared on social media, or even downloaded as a PDF to showcase your competencies to potential employers, clients, and partners.
Choose Your Track:
- General Track – Cross-cultural communication, global awareness, and conversation facilitation (appropriate for all volunteers)
- Language Instruction Track – Conversational language instruction, student-centered facilitation, and one-on-one teaching (best for volunteers interested in language teaching or related fields)
Eligibility:
All volunteers who have completed 25 or more hours with us are eligible. To receive the badge, you should fill out a detailed reflection form, available here.
This opportunity has a fee of $75, with a discounted fee of $120 if you are applying for both tracks.
