Freud's insight that experiences or desires that people find completely unacceptable may be subject to an evasive process of repression (which, according to today's understanding of the brain, seems to be a special case of emotion regulation and priority shifts) was of fundamental importance; not only for the treatment of histrionic disorders. It also made clear that an impulse and motivation structure can emerge which becomes independent and undermines the "rational", or rather can become a "ricochet" for it.
The further "evolution" of this thought is known - it led to an inflationary used idea of the unconscious.
At the latest with the poststructural and postmodern discourse, as Jacques Derrida, for example, promoted it (and which today forms the silent "BIOS " of the western humanities), this "unconscious" has become a sleeve that is used for all those things for which a logical-structural explanation cannot be found quickly in the examination of mental processes.
Which is not only not in the sense of early psychoanalysis: it also leads to an attack on reason and logical thinking, which then is characterized as a purely Western discourse (and thus as a relative idea) as well as naive and blind to the actual driving force of man (precisely blind for an - only diffusely determined - unconscious).
The fact that this attack is conducted argumentatively-logically and with the categories of contradiction, exclusion or order (i.e. with core concepts of what is actually to be fought), and is thus absurd in its basic tendency, obviously doesn't bother much.
The "research" presented in this branch of the present text-net explicitly takes a counter-position; not only in order to save the basic idea of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy from its full trivialization:
The old Platonic basic idea that only the "cosmological consistency" of a structural phenomenon (which is often referred to as "reason") can explain why man has a (rational) mind that can obviously represent the world is still worth considering. Especially after the brilliant reformulation of this idea by Charles Sanders Peirce, who with his semiotics or "sign theory" presented a system in which the world is shown as development of a specific tripartite sign structure ranging from elementary particles to human language (and who has experienced an interesting "fort writing" in Karl Popper's concept of "Three Worlds").
Following this basic idea, this "research text network" is therefore ultimately about grammar, or precursors to it (as they appear in schemata) or special cases of how they represent argumentative logical conclusions. As well as it is about "DIA/GRAMMATICS", i.e. the development of diagrammatic representations, into which so-called "psychic life" can be transferred.
For even what is called "psyche" would then be a semiotic moment, which accordingly has grammatical or at least proto-grammatical structures - which need to be exposed, understood and handled.
This recovery of a "First Philosophy "* in the sense of Aristotle or Edmund Husserl for the world of psychology and psychotherapy is not only a theoretical gimmick that wants to speak out against the psychologism of the late 19th century, which began its late (and alarming) triumphal procession with postmodernism:
It also wants to help and assist all those who are literally - with the arguments provided by a concept of an all-powerful unconscious - denied any reason and thus self interpretation and regulation. Namely, the (forensic) perpetrators of this world, whose *development ability * is increasingly questioned, even by a naive empirical psychology that stubbornly questions the power of states of mind and impulses without a theory of mind and its cultivation. Which is probably only the beginning of a highly problematic social tendency - which a postmodernism that is absurd at its core has helped to conjure up.
The fact that the texts and "building blocks of discourse" published here not always refer to sources in a broad sense and give exact reference pages is due to the luxury that this "research work" takes place beyond the usual paper culture of the science industry, not quoted or copied anyway - but rather tries to keep alive in a targeted and explicit way what was once called independent and free (scientific) thinking.
Or simply - (first) philosophy.
The English-speaking readers may apologize:
The translation of the texts into English will only be started when a certain base of German texts will form a comprehensive network of articles.
This is not expected before 2021.
Thanks!
