John Shane
John Shane is a British writer, editor, and translator associated with the early English-language transmission of Dzogchen teachings in the West. After meeting Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in London in 1978, he became one of Norbu’s close English collaborators, helping translate teachings into English, editing and compiling publications, and contributing to the development of The Mirror, the newspaper of the International Dzogchen Community. He is also linked to important English Dzogchen publications such as The Crystal and the Way of Light and translations of texts by Namkhai Norbu.
