Thugje

Thugjé — ཐུགས་རྗེ་ (thugs rje)

Pronounced roughly: thook-jay.

Literal meaning:

“noble heart,” “mind of awakening,” compassion.

But in Dzogchen, thugjé is not merely emotional compassion. It is the dynamic energy or expressive responsiveness of awareness.
