Khoo, Archy Duchy

Khoo is regarded as one of the most hostile, depressing, Arch-duchies known in the Kingdom. The Lowlands are pleasant - the Demesne of the Duke is cold, crowded, constantly overcast, cold, clammy and grey and drizzly, and brimming with military police, Legion related industrial activity and a sense of paranoia. By and large travel there requires papers and reasons. Travelers are routinely questioned, especially on the plateau as one travels North, and specifically Tortenshie, Lellka and St. Agnes are difficult to visit, or even find proper documentation about. The Domus in the capital city barely even mentions these on maps.

Still a remarkably amount of legaionary supplies find their way up the river north, although the specific destinations are always claimed to be Hringular or Loakron, which seem bewildering - Hringular doesnt even connect there, and Loakron is said to be a small outpost under quarantine.

One odd thing - in some heraldy Khoo carries the sigyl of Border domain and in others does not, which is very strange.
