Our Systems Thinking Mental Model
There are so many ways to think in systems!
We wanted to take a minute to outline our mental model of systems thinking and where we sit in relationship to other approaches.
- We focus on social learning processes whereby folks are making sense of the system together, while building their individual systems capacity
- We apply systems to complexity, which means we acknowledge and engage with: emergence, uncertainty, and ambiguity.
- We focus on low-tech/no-tech methods to learn about and see the system.
- We use the Systems Change Framework and the 4 lenses to guide how we see and engage with the system.
