If you change project is not aligned with the vision and strategy for your organization:

• Your project may struggle to establish priority against other projects that directly support the strategy.
• Changes that are not aligned with the organizational strategy and vision are more likely to cancelled or delayed when there is a conflict of resources or limited funding.
• Changes that are not aligned will have difficulty securing executive level sponsorship and tend to exist in the background until they are formally cancelled or just fade away due to lack of leadership attention.
