🌙 ABOUT THE SERIES

The Sandman is an influential dark fantasy comic book series created by Neil Gaiman, blending mythology, folklore, literature, horror, and philosophical fiction.

The story follows Dream, also known as Morpheus, the immortal ruler of the Dreaming and one of the seven Endless: Destiny, Death, Dream, Destruction, Desire, Despair, and Delirium.

After seventy years of imprisonment by human occultists, Dream escapes and begins rebuilding his devastated kingdom. His journey becomes an exploration of identity, responsibility, mortality, love, storytelling, and the inevitability of change.

Moving between the waking world, Hell, ancient civilizations, distant realms, and the collective imagination of humanity, the series gradually reveals the tragic consequences of Morpheus's choices.

At its heart, The Sandman is a story about stories themselves — and about whether even an immortal being can truly change.
