Hello Achim,

Thank you for explaining, and I understand the frustration.

At this time, TheBrain Android app does not have a home screen widget for quickly creating a new thought. I can see why that would be useful, especially if you want to capture something quickly without opening the full app and navigating first.

I will note this as a feature request for an Android quick thought widget.

For the app closing issue, that is separate from the widget request, and we would still want to review the Android log file so we can understand why the app is closing on your device.

On Android, please send the mobile log file this way:

• Open TheBrain app

• Go to Settings

• Go to Support

• Tap Email Log File

Please also let us know what you are doing right before the app closes, such as opening a Brain, syncing, creating a thought, editing notes, or navigating.
