Thank you for writing in.

Yes, please first check this setting:

• Main Menu
• Settings
• User
• Content Area
• Uncheck Preview first attachment when note is empty

If that is enabled, attachments such as video files or video links can open automatically when a thought has no note content.

Please let me know whether disabling that stops the videos from starting automatically, or if I hit the mark completely.
