Thank you for the detailed note, and I’m sorry for the frustration with the updater and the website download not giving you the version you were trying to install.

Please use this direct Windows download link for the latest build:

Please install that version and let us know whether it resolves the update failure you were seeing on the laptop.

On your Linux question, we do have a Linux build coming in the very near future. I do not have a public release date to give you yet, but it is actively coming.
