How to tamper with database SQL file #95884
https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/95884
Hello Mark,
Thank you for your understanding and for exercising caution with this process.
To access the database files for your Brain, navigate to the following location:
- Open the Brains folder:
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\TheBrain\Brains.
- Inside the folder, you'll see subdirectories named
U0,U1, etc. These correspond to the accounts logged into TheBrain on your system (e.g.,U0for the first account,U1for the second, and so on). - Within the account directory, locate the specific Brain folder (
b1,b2,b3, etc., in order of creation). - Open the desired Brain folder, and scroll to the bottom to find the database file. The main database file is typically Brain which is a static SQL database.
Please note:
- While you can work on a copy of the database, we strongly discourage tampering with it directly as it may lead to corruption or unexpected issues. Any such modifications are at your own risk.
- Ensure that you are working on a duplicate of the database rather than the original to safeguard your data.
Once again, I appreciate your curiosity and enthusiasm, however, please exercise caution, for we are not responsible for any data corruption.
Best regards,
John
