Hello Luiz,
Thank you for reaching out and for sending the log files.
I recommend performing a MetaDB reset to resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:
- Ensure TheBrain is completely closed
- Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and check if TheBrain is still running in the Processes tab.
- If you see it, right-click TheBrain.exe and select End Task.
- Locate the MetaDB folder
- Open File Explorer.
- Navigate to:
C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\TheBrain\MetaDB - If you don't see the AppDatafolder:
- Click View at the top of File Explorer.
- Select Options > View tab > Enable Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
- Rename the MetaDB file
- Find the file named TheBrainMeta.db.
- Rename it to TheBrainMeta.db.old.
- Restart TheBrain and log in again
- This will generate a fresh, uncorrupted database upon restart.
If you continue experiencing any issues, please let us know along with any steps to replicate the error so we can investigate further.
Looking forward to your update!
Best regards,
John
