Thank you for confirming.

In TheBrain 14 on macOS, there is no direct AI disable toggle like in version 15.

The usual workaround there is:

• Open Preferences
• Go to Experimental
• Enable the option to use your own OpenAI key
• Enter an invalid value there

That prevents the built in AI access from working.
