Hello Arran,

Thank you for the update.

We were able to reproduce the image issue, and it has been fixed for the next update.

The cause was related to older notes from versions of TheBrain before version 11, which used HTML-based notes instead of Markdown. TheBrain 15 was not handling some of those older image links correctly, which is why the images could fail to render properly in the new notes editor.

Once the next update is available, please update and check those same notes again.

For the sync error saying “The server is preparing to receive this brain. Please try again later,” that may be separate from the image rendering problem. Since this has been happening for about a week across several Brains, we should review that part as well.

Could you please send the Output.log from right after trying to sync one of the affected Brains?

• Open TheBrain

• Try syncing one of the affected Brains

• After the sync error appears, go to Help > Open Log Directory

• Attach the file named Output.log

Please also send the names of the Brains that show the “server is preparing to receive this brain” message.
