Cloud data security questions #98306

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out with your question about data security, that’s a very important topic.
Both TheBrain web client and native apps (Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android) use HTTPS encryption for all data transfers. Data stored on our servers, including file attachments, notes, and images, is also kept encrypted at rest.
Here’s a brief overview of how TheBrain Cloud keeps your information secure:
- Our servers are hosted on Microsoft Azure, a trusted global platform.
- Even system administrators cannot access user data without proper credentials.
- Our service agreement strictly prohibits access or use of customer data beyond providing services.
- Passwords are salted and hashed, so they cannot be viewed by anyone.
- File attachments and notes are encrypted using AES-256, one of the strongest encryption standards available.
- No third-party vendors have access to your hosted data.
