Brains Folder Missing and Unable to Sync not Authorized #100336

https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/100336

Hello Herman,

Thank you for the additional details, and thank you for chatting with me earlier.

Since you mentioned that three of your Brains are only local and do not have .brz backups, the most important next step is to protect those local Brain folders before we do any reset or redownload steps.

Please do not delete, rename, reinstall, or use Choose Brain Folder again for now.

First, please make a manual copy of your entire Brains folder to a safe location outside OneDrive, such as your Desktop or an external drive. This should be a normal folder copy, not a Brain Archive export.

After that, please send:

• A screenshot of the full Brains folder path in File Explorer, with the address bar visible

• A screenshot showing the contents of the U01 folder

• A screenshot showing the Brain folders inside U01, such as B01, B02, or similar

• The Output.log from the laptop

For the log file:

• Press Windows key + R

• Paste this path and press Enter:

%LocalAppData%\TheBrain\Logs

• Attach the file named Output.log

Please also confirm whether the Brains folder is inside OneDrive or a folder that OneDrive is backing up. I noticed the folder icon may indicate OneDrive involvement, and I want to check that before giving you any reset steps.

Since your desktop is working and your cloud synced Brains are safe there, we should be able to handle those separately. The main thing is to preserve the three local only Brains first.

Best regards,

John
