• Notes and attachments are stored as regular files

• Thought and link data is stored locally in a SQLite database

• Markdown content can be imported and used within TheBrain

We’ve also seen users integrate their Brain data with external AI workflows, and within the app, Cerebro is designed to work directly with your content for AI-driven use cases.
