Thanks for pointing this out and for explaining how you’re running into it.

Right now, lines that start with a dash can be interpreted as To-Dos when text is pasted or imported, even when those dashes were meant to be simple bullet points. We agree that this can feel overly aggressive in cases like yours.

For the moment, the best place to track and prioritize improvements like this is UserVoice:

We are also looking at making the Markdown handling in v15 more standard over time, which should help reduce cases like this, but there isn’t a specific timeline yet.
