Update to #100140

https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/100140

Hello Brandon,

Thank you for sending the updated Output.log, error report, and diagnostic bundle.

The new files are helpful because they captured an actual crash this time. Before I bring this back for deeper review, I still need the Windows Event Viewer file we requested earlier, since that may include the system level crash details that TheBrain’s own logs do not fully capture.

Please collect the Event Viewer entries from around the time of the crash:

• Open Windows Search

• Search for Event Viewer

• In Event Viewer, expand Windows Logs

• Click Application

• On the right side, click Filter Current Log

• Check Error

• Click OK

Then look for error events around the time TheBrain closed or froze. The most useful entries will usually mention:

• TheBrain.exe

• Application Error

• .NET Runtime

To send them:

• Select the relevant events using Ctrl click or Shift click

• Go to the Action menu

• Select Save Selected Events

• Send us the saved .evtx file

Once we have that Event Viewer export together with the Output.log, ErrorReport, and DiagnosticBundle, we should have a more complete picture of what happened as it may be related with the previous ticket you sent.

Best regards,

John
