How to run scripts in cerebro #99568

Hello Peter,

You’re not missing anything, the behavior you’re seeing is expected, but there is one additional way to run AI Scripts that may not be obvious.

In TheBrain 15, AI Scripts are not executed by clicking them in the AI Scripts list. That screen is only for managing scripts (edit, copy, move).

There are two supported ways to run AI Scripts:

1. Via Cerebro chat
   • Open Cerebro (AI panel)
   • Click into the chat input
   • Type /
   • Select an AI Script from the list and run it
   • Scripts execute in the context of the currently selected thought.
2. Via keyboard shortcut
   • Assign a shortcut under:
   • Settings > User > Keyboard Shortcuts > AI Scripts
   • Use the shortcut to run the script on the selected thought.

There is no separate on/off toggle or “Run” button on the AI Scripts settings page itself.

Once you know to use / inside the Cerebro chat or a keyboard shortcut, everything should work as expected.
