Thank you for your question. I’m happy to clarify this.

TheBrain 14 does support offline activation and can be used in a fully isolated environment, such as a secured intranet, once it has been activated. In this setup, the software runs locally with full Pro functionality, but cloud services and sync are disabled.

TheBrain 15 is still in beta, and offline activation is not yet available in the beta builds. Offline activation support for v15 is planned, but for now, v14 is the correct choice for fully offline or air-gapped environments.

Below are the steps to perform offline activation for TheBrain 14.

On the offline computer:

Install and launch TheBrain 14

Go to Help > Offline License Activation

Copy or write down the full activation URL shown on screen

Transfer that URL to a computer with internet access.

On the online computer:

Go to https://app.thebrain.com and sign in to your account

Click your initials in the top right and select Account Info and Tools

Choose Offline Activation

Paste the activation URL into the Offline Activation Key field and submit it

A license key will be generated

Copy that license key and transfer it back to the offline computer.

Back on the offline computer:

Open TheBrain again

Go to Help > Offline License Activation

Paste the license key

Restart the application

Once activated, TheBrain will run fully offline with Pro features enabled. No sign-in or internet connection is required after activation.
