Date-Based Tasks in TheBrain 15 (Mac) #99942

https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/99942

Hello,

Great question, and glad to hear you’re enjoying TheBrain.

For date-sensitive tasks and follow-ups, the best approach in TheBrain 15 is to use the Calendar / Timeline feature.

You can do this by:

• Clicking the “+” icon in the Calendar/Timeline view

• Entering a short task or event summary

• Associating it with a Thought (for example, a project or meeting)

• Setting the specific date (and time if needed)

You can find the Timeline view on the right side of the app, just below the To-Do list.

This allows you to:

• See upcoming tasks in a time-based view

• Jump directly from a date to the related Thought

• Keep your action items connected to your overall Brain structure

A common workflow many users follow is:

• Create a Thought for a project or meeting

• Add tasks as dated entries in the Calendar/Timeline

• Link each task back to its relevant Thought

This way, you get both context and time awareness working together.

Best regards,

John
