Some comments on v 15.0.101.0 #99343

Thank you for continuing to test and for taking the time to share these observations.

I’ve gone through each of the items you mentioned and wanted to clarify what we’re seeing on our side, as well as suggest next steps.

For the Escape key after Ctrl+K, we’re not able to reproduce that behavior here. In our testing, pressing Escape closes the potential link dialog as expected. If you’re still seeing it behave differently, a short screen recording would help us understand what’s happening in your case.

Regarding unlinked mentions, detection and highlighting are working as expected in our testing, including mapped links and backlinks. If you can share a screenshot showing an example where unlinked mentions are listed but not highlighted, that would help us confirm whether we’re looking at the same thing.

For dragging local files or web links into the Plex, the fact that it works in a small test Brain but not in your existing Brains suggests this may be specific to those Brains rather than a general limitation in v15.

If one of the affected Brains does not contain sensitive information and you’re comfortable sharing it, we can also take a closer look directly. In that case, you could send us either:

• a .brz backup, or
• the Brain’s Brain.db file

That often allows us to pinpoint what’s different about a specific Brain.

Of course, this is entirely optional. If you’d prefer not to share the data, a short screen recording or step-by-step description would still be very helpful.
