Thank you for the detailed updates. I’m glad to hear that you were at least able to get 2L to open and index, even if it later crashed. That helps narrow down what’s happening.

Before we go further, I need to confirm one key detail on your end:

Did you already complete the full MetaDB reset on your Mac as outlined earlier?

Specifically:

1. Quit TheBrain completely.
2. Go to
3. ~/.TheBrain/v9/MetaDB
4. Rename
5. TheBrainMeta.db
6. to
7. TheBrainMeta.db.old
8. Relaunch TheBrain 15 and sign in.

The logs you sent show several UI-initialization errors that can happen if the local MetaDB is still referencing old or inconsistent state, so confirming whether the reset was actually performed is important before we interpret the new Output.log.

Once you confirm that the MetaDB reset was done, please also send:

• A fresh Output.log created immediately after attempting to open 2L

• Whether the small test Brain still fails on launch, or now opens normally

As soon as I have that, I’ll review the logs and continue working through this with you.
