You're correct, Microsoft PowerPoint uses a proprietary format that doesn’t always transfer cleanly into TheBrain’s markdown editor. This is why you’re seeing formatting issues when copying directly. Unfortunately, at the moment, the workaround you’re using (copying the text to MS Word first) is the best solution to ensure that formatting is preserved correctly.
