Embed using iframe #97850

Hello Nikki,

Thank you for your question.

TheBrain can indeed be published and even embedded into a website, but it’s important to note that it isn’t a full website-builder with features like sliders, landing page templates, or membership controls built-in. What you can do is use Publish Online and then embed your Brain directly into your own site using an iframe. This way, visitors can explore your Brain interactively within the context of your website.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Create a Brain and sync it to TheBrain Cloud. (More info: Syncing)
  2. Log into your account at https://app.thebrain.com.
  3. Next to your Brain name (in the list of thumbnails), click the context menu button (three lines).
  4. Select Brain Access and Sharing.
  5. Check the box Allow public access.
  6. After checking, an embedding code will appear.
  7. Copy/paste that code into your website.

Here’s an example of what the iframe embed code looks like:

<iframe width="800" height="600"
src="https://app.thebrain.com/embed/af1aeba8-2013-575d-31e5-3e4ff1b707e7"
frameborder="0"></iframe>

You can adjust the width and height values, or set them to "100%" for a full-screen view.

Any updates you make in your Brain on the desktop app will sync to the cloud and automatically appear on your website embed.

For features such as landing pages, private member areas, or sliders, you would need to use your own web platform (WordPress, Wix, etc.), then embed your Brain inside it.

Best regards,

John
