Thank you for the thoughtful follow-up, and I’m glad to hear you were able to get everything back into TheBrain 14 after turning off Light Sync in v15. I absolutely understand the frustration you felt before that point.

Regarding your concern about warnings: we do actually inform users about Light Sync in multiple places, including the notice shown on first launch and the information published on the v15 download page. But I appreciate that in real-world upgrades it’s easy for these details to be missed, especially when moving quickly. Your feedback helps us improve how clearly this is communicated.

About the issues you’re seeing in the v15 beta: we are actively testing across our own Windows 11 machines as well. The reason we ask for a log or short recording isn’t to burden you, but to match what you’re seeing with the specific errors coming from your environment. Sometimes two users can hit the same visible symptom for completely different underlying reasons. That said, I fully understand that you can’t send more material immediately, and that’s perfectly fine.

For now, continuing your work in TheBrain 14 is a good decision, and v15 will keep evolving as we refine the editor and Plex behavior based on all the feedback coming in during the beta phase. Your notes are already part of that process.
