Metadb reset Uwe #96195
https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/96195
Hello again Uwe!
Based on the log files you provided, it looks like a MetaDB reset is needed to resolve the issue. Please follow these steps:
- Close TheBrain if it is currently running.
- Navigate to the MetaDB folder:
- Open File Explorer.
- In the File Path Bar at the top, right-click and select Edit Address.
- Type
%LocalAppData%(without quotes) and press Enter. - Open the TheBrain folder, then navigate to MetaDB.
- Rename the MetaDB file:
- Locate the file TheBrainMeta.db.
- Right-click and rename it to TheBrainMeta.db.old.
- Restart TheBrain and log in again. (This will create a new, uncorrupted database upon restart.)
After completing these steps, TheBrain should function normally. If the issue persists, please send us a new Output.log file so we can investigate further.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Best regards,
John
