Thank you for letting us know, and we appreciate you flagging this.

What you’re seeing is a false positive from Webroot. The file you mentioned, venus.dll, is a legitimate component of TheBrain and is not malicious. Some antivirus tools occasionally flag newer or frequently updated application components before they’ve been fully whitelisted in their databases, which is what appears to be happening here.

You did the right thing by restoring and allowing it. We’re also continuing to work with security vendors to reduce these false positives going forward.

Rest assured, TheBrain installers and updates are signed and scanned before release, and there is no trojan or malicious behavior involved.
