No, you don’t need to upgrade just to view information in the location description, that’s not a paid feature. What’s likely happening is that some websites change how their URLs display data, and that occasionally causes this error. When it’s reported, we patch it quickly, so thank you for letting us know.

As for your second question, your Pro license applies to version 10, so you’ll have access to all its Pro features but not the newer ones in version 14. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading just for this minor behavior, but if you’re interested in seeing what’s new, version 14, and especially the upcoming version 15, bring a huge jump in performance, design, and integrated AI assistance.

If you do upgrade now, you’ll have access to both version 14 and a perpetual license for version 15 once it’s released. It’s a solid step forward if you’d like to explore the latest AI-driven tools inside TheBrain.
