Thank you for the follow up and the additional screenshots.

The red outline itself does not sound like a problem. Since your active frame color is set to red-ish, that can explain the red highlight. Also, if you have Display content on mouse-hover or keyboard-highlight enabled, that can cause the content area on the right side to show that outline as well.

So the red frame is likely normal behavior.

The freeze is the part I want to focus on. Since you are seeing it across several computers, across multiple versions, and with the same Brain you use daily, that makes it less likely to be just one machine and more likely something specific to that Brain or how it is being rendered.

Regarding CCleaner, it may temporarily improve system conditions, but I would not treat that as the actual fix.

I was not able to access the Output.log through the current Google Drive link, so could you please update the sharing permissions on that file so we can open it? (Set for everyone to view) If possible, please also send a short screen recording showing the temporary freeze when it happens.
