[Bug Report] Convert to Type operation fails in TheBrain 15 Beta (15.0.518) #99851

Thank you for the detailed report and for outlining the steps so clearly. That is very helpful.

Since your report referenced version 15.0.518, a few newer builds have been released since then. Before we investigate further, could you please check whether the same behavior still occurs in the latest build, 15.0.522?

If the issue is still present there, please send us the Output.log from your system so we can review what happens when the conversion is attempted.

You can locate it here:

Windows

• Press Win + R

• Enter:

%LocalAppData%\TheBrain\Logs

• Locate Output.log

macOS

• Open Finder

• Click Go → Go to Folder

• Enter:

~/.TheBrain/v9/Logs

• Locate Output.log

Please send the log captured shortly after reproducing the issue.

Once we review the log, we should be able to determine what is preventing the thought from converting to a Type.
