TheBrain 14 does not automatically update into TheBrain 15 through the normal “Check for Updates” option. Since version 15 is a major new version, it needs to be downloaded and installed separately.

You can download TheBrain 15 here:

https://www.thebrain.com/download

Please install TheBrain 15 from that page, then sign in using the same TheBrain account.

The message you are seeing means that this Brain now requires TheBrain 15 to open. If you still need to open that Brain again in TheBrain 14, you may be able to do so after turning off light sync attachments for that Brain in TheBrain 15.
