Hello Eric,

Thank you again for sending the log and screenshot.

I checked this with the team, and the log does not show sync getting stuck at “Preparing Local Data.” The sync entries we can see there appear to complete normally, so I’d like to better understand what you are seeing on screen when this happens.

Could you please send a screenshot or short screen recording showing the full sequence from restarting TheBrain to the point where it appears stuck?

It would also help to know:

• What message or screen makes it look stuck at “Preparing Local Data”
• Whether the app eventually finishes if you leave it open
• Whether you can still open and use your Brain afterward
