Can ai summarize from link? #95974

https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/95974

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to TheBrain!

I understand your interest in using the AI features to generate summaries from links, and I appreciate your suggestion. Currently, the AI Assistant in TheBrain does not directly generate summaries for linked web pages. It primarily works with the content that is already present within your notes or the immediate context of your thought.

If you’d like to summarize a web page, you can try the following workaround:

1. Copy the content from the web page (or the relevant sections you'd like summarized).
2. Paste it into the notes section of the thought.
3. Use the AI Assistant to summarize the content from within the notes.

Our team is working on adding more features to the AI, so please stay tuned 🙂

Please let me know if you have further questions or if there’s anything else I can assist you with!

Best regards,

John
