Resolution for android issue #98519
https://thebrain.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/98519
Hello,
Thank you for sending the screen recording, that was very helpful.
Based on what we’re seeing, this behavior appears to be related to the Android app itself rather than anything specific to your Brain. The version currently available on Android is fairly old, and unfortunately there isn’t much more we can diagnose from the logs and video at this point.
The only practical step we can suggest right now is a full uninstall and reinstall of the Android app. This can sometimes clear out a corrupted or unstable local state that causes repeated crashes.
Before doing that, there is one important warning to keep in mind:
Uninstalling the app will remove all local data stored on the device. If there is anything in the Android app that has not been fully synced to the cloud, it will be lost when the app is uninstalled.
If you’re confident that everything is already synced, you can proceed with uninstalling the app, reinstall it from the Play Store, and then sign in again.
If reinstalling doesn’t help, the most likely resolution will be a newer Android release once it becomes available, as this issue may already be addressed in newer code.
I know this isn’t an ideal answer, but I wanted to be transparent about the current limits here. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed.
Best regards,
John
