Hello,

To clarify, you do not need to open the attachment first.

To convert linked files into files stored inside the Brain, please do the following on Windows:

1. Go to Reports → External Attachments
2. Select the attachment you want to convert
3. Right-click the attachment
4. Choose Move file to Brain or Copy file to Brain

After that, let the Brain finish syncing.

Once a file is moved or copied into the Brain, it will sync correctly and be accessible on macOS and iOS.

That’s all that’s required.
