Thank you for your note. From the log and your description, this looks to be the same issue we’ve discussed before that’s tied to PDF previews during search.

To avoid the freeze/crash, please disable Show PDF previews when searching under your Preferences. With that turned off, search will function normally.

If the setting is re-enabled, the issue will return, so the best workaround for now is to keep that option disabled, until the release of V15 (issue is fixed there).
