iOS Note Save Failed / Recovery Files #100595

Hello Roger,

Thank you for sending the additional recovery files.

We identified the cause of the Note Save Failed alerts. The issue was triggered when content copied from some mobile news sites included a special invisible placeholder image. The mobile note-saving process could not handle that image type, so the save failed and then continued failing on retry, which caused the repeated alerts.

A fix has been made for the mobile app. Please update TheBrain on your iPhone to the latest available version, then try the same type of copy/paste again and let us know whether the note saves correctly.

I’m also attaching the recovered Markdown versions of the files from the earlier recovery set so you can copy any needed content back into your notes.

For the new recovery files you just sent, we’ll keep them with the ticket as well. After you update, if you still see Note Save Failed alerts, please send a fresh set of recovery files from the updated app.
