Thanks for the follow-up, that helps clarify what you’re seeing.

First, about the Alpha vs Beta message:

The version shown in Help → About TheBrain is the authoritative one. Since it shows 15.0.99 Beta, you are on the correct Beta build. The wording shown during launch can still mention Alpha in some cases, but that does not reflect the actual build you’re running.

Regarding the “comma trick” and seeing full paths for thought names, this is now controlled by a setting rather than being automatic.

Please check the following:

1. Go to Settings → Brain → Plex Settings
2. Under Appearance, enable Context Sensitive Thought Names

Once this is enabled, thoughts will display their shortened, context-based names instead of the full path.

After toggling it, click around the Plex to confirm the change.

That should resolve the behavior you’re describing.
