Hello Roger,

Thank you for reporting this, and I’m glad to hear it has been a long time since you last saw one of these.

Since this happened while TheBrain was closing, could you please send us the TheBrain log from right after the crash? That should help us see what TheBrain was doing during shutdown.

On macOS:

• In Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder

• Paste this path and press Enter:

~/.TheBrain/v9/Logs

• Attach the file named Output.log

If macOS also showed a crash report window with more details, please attach that report as well.

If this was a one time crash and TheBrain opens normally afterward, there is likely nothing else you need to do right now. We’ll review the log and see whether there is anything actionable.
