Using TheBrain to Create Book #100167

Hello Dr. Kereky,
Thank you for sharing this. It sounds like a very strong use case for TheBrain.
From what you described, I think the best fit is to use TheBrain as the structure and navigation layer, while continuing to use Gemini where it is already helping you with deeper content generation and analysis.
One especially practical workflow would be to have Gemini help you break material down into a structured plain text outline, then import that into TheBrain using Text Outline import. That gives you a fast way to turn generated structure into an actual Brain without building everything manually.
The import works like this:
- Each line becomes a thought
- Tabs create hierarchy
- Lines starting with
-become notes - Lines starting with
+become web link attachments - Labels can be added using
|on the same line - (You can instruct gemini to make an output based on these)
That could be a very good bridge between Gemini’s output and TheBrain’s structure.
Once the structure is in TheBrain, Cerebro can then help you refine it further inside the Brain, for example by summarizing, simplifying, reorganizing, comparing sections, or helping clean up notes and thought content after import.
On the documentation side, you are not missing anything obvious. The version 15 user guide is not ready yet and is expected with full release, so for now the best references are still the existing materials, sample workflows, and hands on experimentation.
So in short, I would not think of TheBrain as replacing Gemini in your workflow. I would think of it as the place where Gemini’s output can be organized into a navigable, connected knowledge structure that you can keep refining over time.
Best regards,
John
