Mark Trexler, Ctrl-Click Child Gate Selection #100860

Hello Mark,

Thank you for chatting in.

Ctrl-clicking the child gate is intended for the immediate child thoughts. It does not expand into all deeper descendants or every related thought beyond that first child level.

For a broader selection, please try using Select Related instead. You can right click in the selection area and choose Select Related, then adjust the options for how far out you want to go, such as number of links away, direction, tags, types, and other filters.

That should give you more control if you are trying to gather a larger related group of thoughts rather than only the direct children.

Best regards,

John
