Dekutron? #99490

Hello Michael,

Thank you for checking in, and you’re correct on both points.

The “Dekutron” label is an internal beta build name that’s currently being exposed in some UI locations, such as the Windows taskbar when there’s enough space to show the app title. It doesn’t come from your Brain and has no functional meaning. This is a cosmetic issue and will be cleaned up as the beta progresses.

Regarding tab labels in TheBrain 15:

You’re also right that version 14 showed both the Brain name and the active thought, while version 15 currently shows one or the other. The ability to display both has already been documented internally as a feature request, as several users prefer the v14 behavior.

Thank you for taking the time to report this and explain how it affects your workflow, feedback like this is very helpful during the beta.

Best regards,

John
